Did any Forum Members see the programme on BBC4 tonight (13/5/10) at 9pm called "Behind The Scenes At The Museum", which was all about the Leyland Commercial Motor museum up in Lancashire ! They were following and interviewing Management and Staff from the Museum, along with all the Friends and Volunteers that help out there aswell !
It was really interesting to watch, but the biggest and most unexpected suprise came when they were talking to one of the guys up in the Archive Room and clearly seen on his desc was a Black and White picture of Coventry Transport Daimler Fleetline No.36 (KWK 36F) seen when new ! If it had been a photo of one of our Willowbrook bodied Leyland Atlantean's, i could understand it and wouldn't be so suprised to see it, but a photo of a Daimler Fleetline ???
It looks like they don't just collect photo's of Leyland Vehicles up there and instead like to add photo's of any make of Vehicle to their Archives ???
